II. Provision of the website and generation of log files

1. Description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.
The following data is collected:
- IP address of the accessing internet connection
- Browser type and browser version
- Referrer URL
- Date and time of the server request
- Files retrieved and amount of data sent
The data is stored in the log files of our system for 7 days and then deleted or masked so that it can no longer be traced back to a specific user.

2. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the IP address and other data (also in the log files) is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR.

3. Purpose of data processing

Temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.
The data is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website. Also, we use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data is not analyzed for marketing purposes in this context. These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

4. Duration of storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, it will be deleted as soon as the respective session has ended.
If the data is stored in log files, it will be deleted when storage is no longer necessary (e.g. to identify misuse).

5. Possibility of objection and removal

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility of objection.

III. E-mail contact / contact form

1. Pescription and scope of data processing

On our website, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided or via a contact form. In both cases, the personal data transmitted by the user is stored. The data will not be passed on to third parties in this context.

2. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail or form request is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If the contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

3. Purpose of the data processing

The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation.

4. Duration of storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified.

5. Possibility of objection and removal

If the user contacts us by e-mail, they can object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.
To exercise the objection, the user can contact us using the contact details given under “I” above. A revocation made by telephone requires the sending of an identification document to ensure the identity of the objecting party.
All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case.

IV. Rights of the user

Concerning the processing of personal data by us, users have the following rights:

1. Revocation of consent given

The user can revoke any consent given to us at any time with effect for the future.

2. Information

The user has a right to access all personal data we have stored about him or her.

3. Amendment and erasure

The user has the right to amend incorrect and complete incomplete personal data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR and to erase personal data under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR.

4. Restriction of processing

Under the conditions of Art. 18 GDPR, the user can restrict the processing of their personal data.

5. Objection

The user has the right to object to the processing of their personal data by us at any time for reasons arising from their particular situation if this processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 e) or f) GDPR.

6. Disclosure of the data and data transfer

In addition, the user has the right to receive the personal data concerning him or her that he or she has provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. They also have the right, insofar as this is technically feasible, for us to transfer said data to another controller on their instructions. The exercise of all the rights stated above is generally free of charge for the user. To exercise their rights, users should contact us.

7. Right to lodge a complaint

If the user is of the opinion that we are not properly fulfilling our data protection obligations, they can contact the responsible data protection supervisory authority at any time. This may be the NRW State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (LDI NRW) responsible for us.

V. Obligation to provide data

There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. However, the provision of the data described above as necessary for the provision of the respective service is necessary if the user wishes to make use of these services. Otherwise, we will not be able to provide the services described.
